Downtown Area Road Closures during New Glarus Fire Fest and Alphornman Triathlon


Events to take place August 4th-5th


New Glarus Fire Fest and Alphornman Triathlon will draw visitors to downtown New Glarus from Saturday, August 4th through Sunday, August 5th


Please make note of the following road closure prior to traveling around downtown New Glarus during Fire Fest/Alphornman Triathlon weekend.


Saturday, August 4th – Fire Fest

  • 4th Avenue (between 2nd and 3rd Streets) will be closed from 9:00 AM until Midnight (12:00 AM).

Sunday, August 5th – Alphornman Triathlon

  • 2nd Street (between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue) and 3rd Avenue (between Railroad Street and 2nd St) will be closed from 6:00 AM until 2:00 PM. No parking on 3rd Avenue from 2nd Street to 3rd Street.
