The Village of New Glarus is hiring a new Public Works Director. Duties include overseeing the maintenance of Village streets, sewer and stormwater facilities, parks, and wastewater treatment plant. This position supervises three full-time employees, plus additional seasonal staff. Starting salary is $33 to $36/hour, plus excellent benefits including participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System.
Public Works Laborer
The Village of New Glarus is hiring a new Public Works Laborer. Duties include maintaining streets, stormwater infrastructure, parks, and equipment. Position requires operation of heavy equipment, including plow truck, end loader, and sewer jetter. Starting salary will be $21 to $25/hour, based on experience, plus excellent benefits including participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System.
