This program is designed to ease the immediate energy burden facing our customers with limited financial resources. Energy Assistance is a one-time bill credit each heating season (i.e., October 1st through May 15th). Eligible customers will receive a letter from Energy Services for Green County indicating that a credit has been applied directly to their electric utility account with New Glarus Utilities.
To qualify for energy assistance you must now have a gross household income at or below 60% of the state median income.
To apply for energy assistance contact Energy Services for Green County at (608) 328-1111.
