  • Village of New Glarus Resident: $1,000
  • Non-Resident: $2,500

All decorations must be either attached directly to the monument or placed on the cement wash at the base of the monument. No decorations (including shepherd hooks, flags, etc.) are allowed off of the monument or cement base unless a Plot Maintenance Form is submitted to the Cemetery Manager (see the form below). 

If families/visitors wish to decorate their loved ones plot off of the monument, please fill out the form below and submit it to the Cemetery Manager. This is an annual form, due March 15 of each year. By signing the form, you agree to mow/trim/maintain the plot to the Village ordinance standards. Failure to do so will result in the decorations being removed and off-monument decorating will no longer be allowed for that plot. 

Holiday decorations during the month of December and January will be allowed off of the monument since they will not impeded with cemetery maintenance. If you place a holiday decoration off of the monument and would like to keep it once lawncare season begins, please remove it from the monument by March 15. If it is not removed, the Village will discard the item.
