NEW PROPERTY OWNER ASSESSMENT QUESTIONNAIRES

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue requires the assessor to investigate and analyze all sales each year.  The assessor need to determine whether the sale is an arms-length sale.  Gardiner Appraisal Service, LLC, is the assessor for the Village of New Glarus.  They will mail a questionnaire to the buyer with questions that will determine if the sale is arms-length.  Please fill out the information that you know.  You will also receive an appointment at a later time to view the interior of your property.  This is to make sure that the data that is recorded on your property is accurate.  This information is used to determine the equalized value of the Village, so it is important that the information is accurate.
